Disk Scrubbing Head

It consists of a brush bristle and a brush tray. The bristle is usually made of polypropylene and nylon, which have different hardness and can be adapted to different types of floor and cleaning tasks.  

With heavy down pressure, it’s generally used for deep cleaning, daily cleaning and light-duty polishing. Disk scrubbing heads now are popular in supermarkets, plazas, retails, healthcare, and educational facilities since they can both clean small and large-area scenarios.

Cylindrical Scrubbing Head

It consists of a roller, bristles and a transmission system. The roller is made of aluminum alloy or polymer material, and the bristles are usually fixed to the surface of the roller. The usual RPM of the cylindrical head is 600-1500 but the down pressure is smaller than the disk scrubbing head.

The obvious strength of using cylindrical heads and brushes is they can pick up lots of debris to lower the need for pre-sweeping, which saves your labor cost, reduces the risk of clogs to the squeegees and deep cleans the cracks of the floor. However, the contact surface is smaller than the disk head. It’s ideal to use in industrial scenarios like parking lots, food factories, manufacturing, warehousing and shipping centers.

Square Orbital Scrubbing Head

The square oscillating head can clean the floor in one direction, back and forth but with a very fast oscillating speed of approximately 1000-3000 times/minute. In most cases, it will With strong oscillating power, it can easily remove hard stains, scratches, sticky dirt, and coating layers. As a chemical-free cleaning way, it can typically be used for floor stripping and renovation on resilient floors like PVC, VCT and hard floors.

Single Disk or Dual Disk

For the same walk-behind or ride-on floor scrubber dryer machine, if they are equipped with a single disk and dual disk, which one is better for you?

Before answering this question, you should know the average disk pressure on a single disk and the dual disk is different. As usual, the contact area of the single disk is bigger so its pressure is smaller than the dual disk one. So dual disk will be better for deep cleaning cases.
