5 Key Parameters You Have To Know Oct 28, 2023
Technical Specification

Many people are wondering about the meaning of the technical specifications of floor scrubber machines.
What does motor power stand for?
Is it the bigger, the better?
There are different RPM and brush disc pressures, how can I choose them to work for the best result? ......
Have you ever been confused about them? Then welcome to focus on this series of NEWSLETTER BLOGS ("Parameter Dictionary")

What you can get

To learn the topic below, we hope to help you better understand the connection between the parameter and the machines and give you some valuable advice on how to pick up the appropriate machine for your floor care jobs.
Here is the title we're talking about in turn,
1. Motor
2. Battery
3. Scrubbing Heads
4. RPM, Pressure, Brush Type

Vacuum Motor & Traction Motor & Brush Motor

The vacuum motor plays an important role in absorbing the waster water and dust after cleaning through the squeegee assembly. The higher power can well clean up the stains and residues left on the floor.

The traction motor can power the floor scrubber to move forward. So the higher power of the motor can support the machine to easily meet complex floors like slopes and uneven floors. It can provide stable and reliable movement performance.

The brush motor represents the cleaning efficiency and cleaning speed. Higher power means that the floor scrubber can provide greater brush rotation force and water flow pressure, so as to effectively clean the floor. Higher powers are often suitable for cleaning large areas and deep stained areas.

Floor Scrubber Battery

1. Flooded/Wet Cell Battery

It's a type of storage battery, also known as a lead-acid battery or a lead-acid battery pack. It's composed of lead plates, lead oxide storage electrodes and sulfuric acid solution, which store and release electrical energy through electric chemical reactions.

2. GEL Battery

It's a rechargeable battery, also known as the colloidal battery (deep cycle battery). It uses a zinc-lead chemical reaction to produce electricity. The electrolyte is fixed with silica gel to prevent flow.

3. AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) Battery

It's a sealed lead-acid battery, and its internal electrolyte is fixed in glass fiber absorbent material, which can effectively prevent acid leakage.

4. Lithium Battery

It's a battery that uses lithium ions as the charge carrier.
